Slow d/l rate on #videopimp?

This is weird. I have a download rate of around 50k/s, and have always gotten around that speed on #videopimp (almost always on AssyServe xdcc).

BUT the last few days I've only gotten 10k at the best (normally 3-4k). I've downloaded other files (not on irc) and they come down around 40-50k.

Also, all my IRC ports are open. Nothing has been changed on mIRC since I had the good speed.


Any ideas?

Servers each have their own max speeds. Upload speeds are normally lower than download speeds, so most servers can't max out your download speed. You should however be able to get roughly the same speed from servers each time. If your speed from AssyServe has dropped, you may have routing issues or some other problem.
