Constant Banning

I don't know why, but each time i connect to #videopimp, i get kicked and banned by ZeppHead with an explanation of "HugeTits- Don't use lame scripts and/or clients. Please install mIRC, from www.mirc.com". I formatted my hard drive yesterday, and downloaded the latest version of mIRC, but i still keep getting banned. what's going on? i don't have any scripts running or anything!

once that type of ban is set, it will remain set until it expires or is manually removed, whether you fix your situation or not. please provide useful information like your hostmask and nickname and IP so we can manually remove the ban.

i let the ban run out, but when i tried again, it just automatically kicked and banned me again. will this fix the problem?

i said it would have to be removed or EXPIRE first. not just be reset. of course you'll continue to be kicked/banned until either of these things happen. yet when i attempted to manually remove your ban, it said there is no such ban on the bots, so either it's been removed or the bots just kick you cuz they're possessed by gremlins.

update - k, i saw you come in and be banned, i was able to remove the ban right then. so either it's fixed now or you DO have a bad version of mirc.

well, i was able to get in to the channel no problem, but now i got banned again for another reason.

Yesterday (April 17th), i was on #videopimp & got banned for an extremely stupid reason.

I did a @find, and PROMO|BOT had what i was looking for. I tried requesting it from it, but there was no confirmation. i tried requesting 4 or 5 times, and still nothing. just asked in the channel if anyone knew why the bot wasn't confirming my request. in the meantime, i tried requesting it from PROMO|BOT again, with still no confirmation. i waited for 1/2 an hour, and asked in the channel again. one of the Ops said that another Op had already replied to me saying that the Bot didn't like my ISP. i didn't get that original message. but i thanked the Op, just saying that i was just wondering, and i proceeded to ask why it didn't like my ISP, and right there & then i got kicked & banned. haven't been able to join since.

I have no clue what i did to deserve that.
