Closing idle connection

Whenever I try to download a video I get placed in line, but thee dcc automatically closes before it can start due to inactivity, what can I do to prevent this?

Once you've queued the file, you dont need to stay in the DCC chat. Once you've queued your files up shut down the dcc window, it's really annoying when you get people camping on fservs.
