Still able to vote after poll end date?

I don't know if this is the right section to post this, but i've noticed that people are still able to vote after the end date of the download voting poll.
What's up with this? and will the votes after the end date count ?
Ok, it's not a big problem but I was wondering if they count and why they are able to keep voting.

the problem is that i don't always have time to update the website on the day poll ends (and that's when the voiting ends, with next website update) all votes count till the poll is over

aaah ok, well thats fair enough :P
I don't want to sound like some kind of whiner, but i was just wondering because I thought there would be an option to insert an end date into the poll, so thats why I asked.
