So, its come, its past us. What did you get? Anything cool/awesome or unique?

I got stuff for my new apt, clothes, and stuff for my new kitten.

Technically I got him this past thursday, but he's my xmas present to myself. :D He keeps me company, and he keeps me movin. That little guy can really fly around the apt, not to mention his activeness. Whew. he got me up this morning at 7am so we could 'play'. Heheehee..

Cool cat vamp, looks likes mine though mines abit bit more fluffy and old. He's 13 years old ginger and a tabby too.
I got some cool pressies like 4gb usb, clothes, gift vouchers, money and a old skool chess board with hand made pieces from my boss it's pretty awesome but best of all i'm on holidays from work. :pinkdance:

i got a new phone (mobile/cell phone), a nokia E65. but it went back to the service centre less than a week. the screen went bonkers. guess its a nokia reputation to have problems with their phones, as my service provider will not provide 1 for 1 changes for nokia phones.

he's well looked after. he loves to eat but still gets out and about to shed those kgs otherwise i just play with him so he doesn't balloon out. atleast he's not starving so i'm fine with a fat cat. as he has got older he's been more incline to sleep. i picked him up from a litter in the markets and i picked a cat with personality he's fantastic company.

For Xmas, I received $80 to spend on clothing, the removal of $110 worth of debt, and some Magic: The Gathering cards.

Guitar Hero III with Wireless Controller

there's and awesome toy, we're playing with it today at work, it was wired PC version but still it's lots of fun and i can only imagine people playing with that after couple of drinks hehe

i have that game (gh3) on my pc, but there seems to be a little lag when i press the keys/notes (the coloured ones), so i end up missing almost all in the song. any solutions?

guitar hero iii has quite high requirements, you can try lowering graphics to 800x600 resolution and chaning all settings of graphics to low.

it might be also that you're not able to press more then 3-4 keys at once on regular keyboards.

if you're right handed we've figured that you can set it up with F1,F2,F3,F4,F5 (as a right hand buttons) and use up arrow as a string up/down(it's configured like that) and there's also a settings to change the order the buttons/colors get displayed something with .... left (when you're playing the track, hit esc, it's on the bottom)
