a few weeks ago i posted a thread about mirc generating errors and closing down

i have a screen shot to offer, but need to know how to get the screen shot from mspaint to here

i wanted to add that i have spent the day scanning and removing and scanning for viruses, trojans,malware, spyware etc etcand the last piece of riskware found if mirc itself. could this mean i have a bad application of mirc

You can either upload it here, as an attachment, or you can also upload it to an image hosting site such as photobucket or imageshack, and use the [IMG] code to post the picture. Hope this helps. :D

The error log will most probably be in your mIRC folder (the folder you installed mIRC in, most probably in Program Files). And it will be a .txt file.

sorry mate had a good look trough and cannot find a txt file in there. i have enabled view hidden foilders as well. could it be save somewhere else

Oh. Then sorry, i can't help you. You can try to re-install mIRC and Inv**ion, or just upgrade to Windows XP. :D Its more reliable than Vista for now(from dozens of feedback from ppl i know).

There looks like a prob in your program. Uninstall it, & download a fresh copy of mirc via their site www.mirc.com and install it. Also you can download an older version with Invision via here (http://irc.vampyrezkave.com)
