Dude, I have 3 passions in life and they are this my dog, my guitars and my pc(and it my girl sees this I am blaming y'all for the edit:lmao:) So yeah why have just the sweet pc, when you can have both or even the pc, guitar(s), house etc. the sky isn't the limit, your ability is, so have fun and go to pluto of planet X LoL

Yeah provided i have a decent/high paying job that funds all my spending. :lmao: Btw PCs and Gibson guitars, or just guitars in general, are not cheap stuff as compared to others. So that will need more cash to fill our passions. :D Luckily I am not interested in Ferraris or Lambourginis. :thatsfunny:

No necessarily man, just know how to save:D My second guitar(my dad gave me his 76 LP) was bought in payments. My Dime sig is going to take one of my credit cards(http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Dean-Razorback-Explosion-Electric-Guitar?sku=512926) so yeah all you have to do is save and have good credit:lmao: and your golden. As for the pc's well that is just knowing when to buy(never buy something that is 3 months new, inflated prices) and play each company off one another. As for not being into the cars, me either unless it is pre-1972 other than this they aren't cars to me

3 yrs is not noob, it's newbie:lmao: and good choice on what your playing, best bet is too choose different classical stuff. It may sound weird to play it but it helps a lot with style and temp. Shit I'd even recommend Spanish Classical as it not only sounds awesome but if you can play you could play a lot of the newage shit now. Always experiment with the axe, you never know what sound you can make.

I mean pawn shops here have just about everything good for an axe at really cheap prices. You live in the sticks? LoL You shall have them there sooner or later(hopefully:D) As for the "knowledgeable" ppl not really. No they had so many druggies and bums coming in with stupid shit that when a normal person came in they just took it for face value, sold them a sub(for car) and all I had to do was put some stickers on it say Xplode and they gave me top dollar($300 about 4 years ago) and I bought the no-name subs for only $20 at a second hand store. As for recommending and LP, I have yet to run across a LP that wasn't good, so my best advice is to go to the guitar store and trust your feelings about the guitar, you know if you want it more than anything or would give you soul to Satan for it, buy it. I could give you a list of 100+ guitars to buy but I mean it is all in the user but try an LP Custom or even a LP Sig(Zakk or Slash's) are pretty sweet. But most of all research the guitar before buying and compare the pros and cons

It was and funny as hell. Now about the yes and no. The custom usually has either a solid body(one piece of wood) or a 3 piece body, it weights more, everything else is virtually the same, other than the gold-plated hardware(which if you know anything about home/any audio, it sounds better), plus the price is usually $100 more cuz not real machines or assembly lines created it, just a handful of gifted craftsman. Now don't get me wrong the std is still a very great piece, just not all the super fine tuning an care goes into it, just fine tuning(cuz it ain't super:)) I feel a difference between my LP Custom and the one my brother owns but as for sound it is virtaul the same, unless it is through a mixer of 4 or 8- track

You need to show me how to play guitar cuz I got some crappy Harmony electric guitar in sunburst color that looks like a cheap remake of a Fender Stratocaster. It's got 2 pickups 1 volume and 1 tone knob with no whammy bar. I can't even call it an electric guitar. For crying out loud I got it from a JCPenny catalog for my birthday!

Although I did buy myself a Marshall Amp, it's either 10 or 15 watts and when I turn it up all the way it shakes the walls in my room. Lol it cost me $110, that's more then the guitar!

I need to learn to play more then Smoke on Water... Lol.

I had one of those, BHead it doesn't matter if you have a name brand axe or no-name, it is all in how you play it. Don't know if you know who Eddie Van Halen but his first guitar was a "do it yourself" took a rip-off fender body and added all sorts of cheap ass(and I mean cheap ass) parts and to this day the guitar still sounds perfect. I fully agree with crash, an instructor can teach you the fundementals of what the tabs, cords and guitar can do but as you said you don't want one, so go to the music store and pick up a a beginniers guitar book(with either a cd or dvd) so you can see and hear what it is suppose to sound like. 16GB iPod Touch with the 2.0 iPhone software update jailbroken once, then un-jailbroken. Had it for about 8 months now. Never had to go in for repairs.

Cost me $400 as soon as it came out last year.

Don't buy it. The recording quality sucks. There isn't any de-interlace filter in it, so you'll have to d.i.y. :lmao:

I wouldn't just jump right in on a product I know nothing about, I usually research it first then dream about it then some more research then buy :thatsfunny: but I think I shall wait til they get all the kinks out of it first(hopefully they ain't like Microsoft) and then buy it

My DVR's audio quality sucks. IMA ADPCM 16000Hz stereo 128Kbps

44.1kHz is standard mp3 quality. 48kHz is for voice quality recording. Anything lower then 44.1kHz just sounds garbled.

Yep. Even the low quality ******* vids have a better audio sampling rate (about 20+kHz). Guess i'll have to live with this. Can cool edit improve its quality?

You cannot improve a song to be better then what it already is. Standard rule of thumb, no matter how many times you convert something, it never improves quality.

Maybe that is why I still get the shit noises from the mp3 track, should probably run it thru Cool edit before attaching to the video eh. I just thought as it came from a cd it should already be perfect.

And yeah the "Yessir" is a BHead word, it shall now be his comic book character tag line :lmao:

I am using bio-diesel so I don't care for gas. I do have to drive 30 mins to fill up but it is worth it when it's 156.9 a litre here. So yeah screw petroleum and get with bio-diesel! Or hydrogen, I know Germany is getting this do and has a few stations already, so yeah I am still not worried about our resources within my lifttime

Yeah but its the majority that is still using Petroleum that counts. This is like the switching from Windows to Mac, when we know that Windows will 'die' sooner or later, but we are also doubtful of switching to Mac. So when majority of the people move to alternate energy sources, then we will start to see improvements in the amount of resources left.

I can agree with this but Linux is not just for Mac's and Mac even has a Vista OS so yeah everything is becoming universal and the only reason ppl are doubtful is becuz Linux doesn't look like Windows so their "comfort blanket" is not there. I myself got lost the first few day on Ubuntu but I mean after I found where everything went and shit like that, it was like window, just better

Public transport is able to ferry much more people around at once, and that beats a few people who takes a private car, or worse, one person driving alone without any passengers.
