Well, it looks like someone using an ip near yours or yours was doing some bad stuff and an op in vp banned the ip. So till one of the admins comes by and looks through the bans to sort it out you will have to wait a bit for it either get removed or be told that it stays. Sorry there is nothing I can do to help remove this ban at this time.

I will deal with it when I get home, & be a bit more specific about the actual bans. Has to do with a website that hosts torrent files and had our videos on it. And in the past, renamed a few of our videos as "dvd rips". They wouldn't remove it or rename it, so they were banned from the IRC channel, the website, and the older forums.

Thank you both for your help.
I don't want to be a bother, but I am still banned. will this eventually go away? Is there something I can do about it? or, should I just be glad for the website, and leave y'all alone about this?

Ban more closely specified with the site's actual IP range. If you get into that subnet though, you will have to force your own IP change, as the current ban is perm or until the website is actually taken down.
You should be able to get in now.
