I got banned from #videopimp about an hour ago and this was the message:

[12:10am] GuanoApes sets mode: +b *!*@ip24-251-20-52.ph.ph.cox.net
[12:10am] Declivity was kicked by SexyTits (banned:36 Hours for Ban Evasion (you're lucky its not more asshole!))

I don't understand why I was banned. I was banned I think three days ago and I figured it was one of those 30minute bans so I waited for an hour(just in case) and I joined #videopimp with no problems. The only thing that was different was that I got a "Declivity you are banned from this server" message from one of the servers when I tried to download. That was it, nothing else. I've been in and out of the channel for days now and haven't had a problem until now. Did I do something else to get banned? I also don't understand how I can join #videopimp if I was banned in the first place. I honestly think this must be a mistake. If I was supposed to be banned this whole time I wonder how long I was initially banned for saying "lol".

You are banned because you changed your ident to get around a ban on promo|bot. You Declivity (user id and ident) changed your ident, to get around that ban that was put in place. i.e. Ban Evasion

Oh I see so i wasn't banned from the channel just Promo|Bot.(wow you must really hate me) I thought it was just the server Vampyre I was banned from. I usually use at least three different nicks so sorry if that changed something.

You were initally only banned from the bot (which I own/pay for). You flooded the shit outta it the other day, so I put in place a weeklong ban on the bot. You were again using it a few days later (ie. ban evasion) so I set the ban on your IP address (perm) for the bot, then added the temp channel ban. You are the one that was evading the ban. You were punished for it. Read up on the Terms page (www.videopimp.com/terms).

To sum it up, you flooded an xdcc bot, got a short ban on it, evaded the ban, and got perm banned from the bot, and a temp ban from the channel.
