Before You Post, Read!

If you get a ban msg, you do need to give us information. Just saying you got banned too, doesn't help any.

We Need

1. Ban Reason (spammer, advertising, whatnot)
2. Your user ID (can look back at logs and see what happened)
3. Your IP and/or ISP. (so we can see why)
4. Make your OWN damn post!

The actual ban msg is the best info to give.
ie. +b *!*@dsl-082-083-062-095.arcor-ip.net That tells us extactly what was banned. Please include this info in your post.

Most current bans in #videopimp are for spammers, idiots trying to sell stolen goods, people running CLONES (multiple clients trying to queue up more files on servers), and problematic users.

When you post a question about a ban, please do the following:

• Wait 30 min before posting. Normally bans are removed after this amount of time. If you are able to get back in, you don't need to post.
• If you are still banned after 30 min, please post all of the info about the ban. (Your username, ident, and IP info)

An easy way to find this information is to open your irc client, and type /whois nickname

Nickname being the nickname you are currently using

PM'ing me or other Admins/OPs will NOT get your ban removed sooner. I remove bans when ***I*** have time. I spend too much time lately reading stupid ass pm's here it's getting old.

Next person that pm's me about a ban, will recieve an extra week on their ban for troubling me about something that gets removed in due process, usually within a short period of time.

Most of you can clear up most of your ban problems by reading the TERMS PAGE or reading the rules on how to post your ban.
