    Default Your settings in TMPGEnc?

    Hi,

I really like the quality of the vdp-rips for their size and would like to save all my dvd videos on my harddrive with the exact same settings. From the resolution and fps-rates I already know you're using the standard VCD NTSC wizard. But I could not find out the advanced settings.. So I'd be glad if someone could tell me which settings you (the rippers) use in TMPGEnc in the options of this screens:

    Thanks a lot

i don't use the "wizard" and i think i use an older version of tmpgenc. we don't work with vob files, so absolutely every setting for a final mpg would be different from your source's anyway.

We don't rip dvds. Try a site that does dvd ripping.

I know you don't rip DVDs.. And so my question was not only about DVD-ripping. I could set any videofile as source (not only a .vob-file) and will get the same options in TMPGEnc. I just wanted to know whether you use any video-correction for your videos, like "noise reduction" or something like that.

Sorry if it sounded like I was going to rip DVDs illegally. I just want to get the videos of my bought DVDs (like RHCP Greatest Videos) on my harddrive. But in .vob they are just huge

Thanks again and thank you also for the great TV-recordings you offer on #videopimp ..
