    Default cannot upload

    got a issue with uploading on mirc cannot be done. Downloads are fine, getting timed out messages 512/128 is my speed running kaspersky 6.0 , widows XP , Original mirc

    All updates have been done for XP. Thinking it could be my anti virus or sp2 any help would be great

    Running

    Amd 3000+ 64 bit
    Ati radeon x600, 256mb graphics card
    1 gig of Ram
    3 x 250 gig hard drives

    Make sure you have windows firewall turned off, because it will block dcc connections. 2ndly, you'll want Invision, or some other serving program, as I don't think the standard MIRC incorporates much of the sending side of it.

    Once you get the sending set, check out the rules for serving in VP and become a server.

    yea worked it out looking at ecoming a server 512/128 is my good old bigpond stuff had a problem with my firewall all good now
