Where is Videopimp Situated?

I have been downlaoding videopimp vidoes for like 3 years,but the thing which bitting me always is that do videopimp have there own office,like all organizations have,or they are some guys working on there computers in home...

And one more thing,where(City,country) is videopimp based? i am not asking the exact address but city with country and state will do...

Main office? lol. Never heard that one before. Its mainly a bunch of dedicated users who share a love of music. There are servers all around in the world, mainly situated in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia. Even the rippers are spread out: a few in the US, one in Europe and 3 in Australia (from what I currently know).

I'm a server myself, but I live in Philadelphia, PA. It would be pretty hard to have a "main office" when all the members are so spread out .

We have a site, we have forums, and we have IRC channels. That's it.


We don't get paid to do this, we do it as a hobby. A hobby that costs some of us a good deal of money every month/year to keep running.

Located on the volcanic isle of Nisyros near Greece, the VideoPimp base of operations is a state-of-the-art facility embedded in the slopes of a recently dormant volcano. Using geothermal power, the facility keeps us pimping those videos with a 1-terabit fiber-optic backbone to the mainland (which also allows for some killer Quake 3 gaming). The facility was built in the late 1980s, at an estimated cost of US $570 billion, and is the largest of its kind in the world. Construction was carried out using old men with pickaxes, and the supporting architecture is made of high-strength steel alloys and a rolled tungsten skin, while the floors inside are all tastefully done with locally-produced obsidian. The server farm inside is a cluster of 2,048 Hitachi/Tsukuba CP-PACS/2048 supercomputers, with a theoretical processing power of 754.0736 Teraflops, dwarfing even IBM's Blue Gene supercomputer with more than a 160% increase in speed.
