Turn off system restore. Go out and gran AVG Anti Spyware from http://free.grisoft.com install it and run all the updates. Reboot. Goto safe mode. Run a full scan with avg antispyware. Then tag all files found for delete on reboot. Apply changes and reboot.

should take care of it, if not post info...

try avg and scan it also use etrust pestpatrol on it and the best way to get it fixed for good is to run scans with the hard drive out and in another machine that will truely clean and find all the hidden stuff then put it back in the pc and rerun all tests 2 or more times and at least one in safe mode

but most stuff nowdays is spyware unless a person has been in porn or ***** unprotected there are not many viruses out anymore mainly active x java and all the other bad cookie crap that sneeks in good luck
