it didnt pop up when i did whois"typeR" which is what i thought the sticky said to do...in one of my return visits i think i saw it say ip banned but no other info

lemme ask this can you gimme a link as to where i get this info? i typed the whois" *" and gave what came up ...ill read the sticky again and see if i missed something

The actual ban msg is the best info to give.
ie. +b *!*@dsl-082-083-062-095.arcor-ip.net That tells us extactly what was banned. Please include this info in your post.

no i read that part and i thought that was what i posted in my first post which is what came up when i typed whois typeR...if this is not the infor youre looking for ? how can i get that info? is there a function on the IRC that will give me that info so i can relay it to you? and so im clear this is not the right info ? :

im sure this is as aggrevating for you as is me ...but i just cant seem to find where i can get that info...how do i find the acctual ban info?
