Seems that you recycled some sentences from my thread. Anyway I don't mind so much, I hope you'll solve this problem.
Hi, for the first time I got banned, but I don't know why.
I got banned when i still downloading video.
the error says :
* You were kicked from #videopimp by GuanoApes (banned:36 Hour Ban for Cloning | www.videopimp.org/terms)
I'm under a LAN, but I don't think it is a problem, it always worked before. Please, let me know what happened and How do i fix this?
Thank you.

Simple, don't run multiple clients in the channel. If several of you are on the same network, then only one in at a time, else you will be kicked for this.

i'm sorry vamp, i dont know well about multiple clients ? is that an IP or the nickname that i use on the #videopimp channel ??
for information :
- i ever change my nickname just once on #videopimp channel
- lately i join #videopimp almost 2 days and after that i got that banned, is that the problem ??
- and i dont know if somebody in my LAN join the #videopimp at the same time.
so any hope from that information ??
sorry for my bad english.
regards
If there are two (or more - ick) clients online on the same IP its a 36 hour temp ban. If I/we see it more than once, bans double in length. After 3 or 4 of them, usually I just ban the offender for 2-6 months. Yours was a 36 hour 'warning ban'.

Excuse me if I use this thread to talk about my case.
When I was banned you told me that there were 4 people using my same IP. I don't know how they can do that, that day I only opened mIRC and joined the channel. And thanks to these assholes I risk to be banned for 6 months?
Another question, I saw that the op banned the entire ISP (*!*@*.retail.telecomitalia.it), instead of my IP. Does this forbid other people from that ISP to enter the channel, or ban people that have already joined? Or does this work in another way?
I'm just curious. Thanks in advance.
There really shouldn't be multiple people using YOUR IP. Either you have multiple machines in your house, or for whatever reason, your ISP is being ignorant, and shoving multiple users thru the same external IP address. Or, if you are using wireless internet, check to make sure YOUR wireless is protected by a WEP/WPA. Make sure your neighbors aren't stealing YOUR internet.
No idea why the above mentioned ban is in place. You didn't post a reason, ect for it. If I remember when I get home from work, I might look, but more than likely, post your own thread, with all the info.

I'll end it here. Just want you to know that there are only 2 PCs in this LAN, wireless disabled, and only my PC running mIRC. I don't want you to take the disturb to re-control what happened to me, now I haven't any problems.
Anyway I got satisfied with your explanation. I won't ask any other questions here. Thank you again.

I think its the ISP personally, you are sharing the external IP with other users. The only way around it is to prehaps get a bouncer?
This problem is the ISP itself. They stuck multiple users on one IP. As simple as that, please ask your ISP for that.
The problem is not YOU and NOT US, it's your ISP.
Another thing is, if you use proxy, turn it off. If you don't know what is proxy, probably you don't have proxy enable.
Check with your ISP first before that
