I will probably be a file server again.

I am hopefully upgrading my internet in the next month to 100kb/s upload or better, and if we switch to Verizon FiOS, 15mbps up!

I tried being a ripper and my analog cable isn't what VP is looking for. :)

If u really are serious about being a ripper, pm serch, the 'pimp admin'. You must know how to encode videos into vcd format like how all vp videos are usually made.

I would suggest learning to properly capture and encode to the videopimp standard BEFORE PMing serch. I also suggest to look at the stickies in the "Making The Video" forum, it will tell you everything you ever need to know about videos. If you have any other questions, PM me, for I will be more then happy to help anyone interested in becoming a ripper.

'cause I was there last night but [200804 videos] were only on HELLSTROM
and there was a bunch of ppl in queue. It was dissapointing! ... coming back to homepage ;)

It was better if other servers could update their videos earlier.
I think there's a date in every month for servers to update or something like this, huh???

and about ripping videos.. I have no problem with that procedure, already know that but
I should check "Making The Video" forum to find out [ what's the VP ideal ].

but the bad part! I have just a dial-up line 8KBs! for down and nothing more but it's ok cause
I can upload from my local ISP and no problem with it. That's great.

From what i know, servers get their videos from a place. I don't think there's a date every month for update. Most probably, the servers just grab new videos when they see it. That's what i think.

Yeah it's called a dump/distro. Its where all the videos are put for the servers to get them from. I think vamp has the dump for VP.

Hey Frenchy, someone who ripped the [smth. with numbers] can not be lazy ;)
I didn'n know these guys so this is what I call PROMOTE. it was really great.
I think the video quality with RAGE is unique. and I think REGE aspect is the
reason for you to prefer 16:9 aspection. 4:3 for rage videos really sucks.

Because the servers aren't active in updating their videos. The videos are on the dump, but they don't have the time to get them. I think.
