End of my server?

Hi everyone,

I'm just making people aware that around the start of August (somewhere in the first three days) my server will be going down as I move residence to share with a couple of friends from work, as opposed to living alone as I do currently.

Having talked stuff through with them, we have decided we're changing internet service provider to get a bundle package with TV channels. If we do this we might end up with some ridiculous monthly bandwidth limit, which will unfortunately most likely mean that I can't serve for VP any more.

If we do get a decent package though with a big enough limit, I should be back in the final week of August (ideally). It would be earlier, except I'm out of the country for two weeks from 10th August so I won't be around to sort things out.

Either way I'll still be on IRC anyway!

I hope this isnt the end of your server! I understand why you're making the choices to get more channels. Good luck with your new set-up!

ooh, you're one of the servers I usually find the videos I'm looking for - downloaded 2 from you today (& i don't often get a chance to go on IRC).

Sorry to hear this p00py, I got hit with the "per usage" internet back in June and I shall tell you, I never knew how much I d/led until July when they hit me with 30 gigs(they give me 60 gigs) and it costs $2.50 a gig over. So yeah I hope you can still serve the ppl but watch the usage bro

Hope you get a nice ISP in that place. I've had to set my server up so it wont serve between 16:00-21:00 because of ISP limits. Luckily i can download as much as i want 21:00-10:00, and upload as much as possible between 21:00-16:00, Nice of them to ONLY limit peak times.

On another note, might have an extra seat for 2009 ;)
