Looking For Disturbed's Rock am Ring

So yeah I am new to IRC and have found the files I want but can't seem to get the d/l, any help is good. I looked thru the VP tutorial on the IRC and it is basic, which I already know, I need the advance version LoL I am slow eh

Yeah it is, well it is in the release section of VP(http://www.videopimp.org/releases.php). Serch capped them. They are right after the BFMV Rock am Ring

He added them to the dump but our servers have yet to download them.

Just did a quick @find, and its available on IRC. Servers who have them are HELLSTROM, shadowb and Cyborg. HELLSTROM even has the xvid version of the whole set.

Yeah dude, I get them too but for some newbie reason why I can seem to grab the d/ls. I am new to the IRC and use the correct trigger but no d/l starts, any advice?

From what I know, it means that the videos are already up for download for the servers, just that they haven't grab em yet to put onto their servers. Next, the file you've requested is most probably queued. So you gotta wait sometime till its your turn. Just like any normal queue system. And i presume you already know how to use the 'get' function when you're in a dcc chat.

I made the same mistake when I first started using IRC.

Its not waiting for your pc to accept it, its waiting for your turn to download. Bear in mind that the servers are just ordinary pc's running on normal home connections, so they can't upload too much at once. And it is faster in a way as you don't really have to wait for people to 'seed' like torrents. Try Viperb0t's server. You'll be amazed.

I have gotten 1.5mb/sec down from him and I have a 1.9mb/sec down line. The other .4mb/sec were probably lost in the latency from Germany to USA. =/
