Slots, queues, files...

well, i now have mirc installed and added #videopimp...i think everything is ok...but i am not understanding this thing of queue! when i type get "name of the file" it appears a message saying: ...bla bla bla.... queued slot # "some number"...now i don't know if i am downloading the file or not!
another thing: how do i delete the files that i put on the so called "queue line"?

Ok the slot number is your place in the line. So that tells you how many people will need to send before yours gets ready to send. As for clearing queues I think it is clr_queues but you can get the server to list the commands if they are not listed when you 1st get onto that server (type: ls). And for quicker answers to your questions feel free to come by the help channel #videopimp.com and ask in there.

and what about...how do i see the files that i have in queue? can anyone help me? i know i am boring and that, but thats just the things are

to know your queues just type: queues :o

You should state what each command does mr. sick. :)

cd Change your current directory [cd <directory|..>]
cd .. Go back up a directory
dir List all the files in current directory
ls List all the files in current directory [wide]
get Gets file from the file server [get <filename>]
read Reads file from file server [read <filename>]
stats Shows file server statistics
who Shows a list of who is connected
sends Shows a list of current sends
queues Shows a list of waiting queues
clr_queues Deletes all of your queues from server
terms Shows you the terms you accept for using this file server

thanks! i can now use mirc withou problem...
but i have another doubt:
is there any way to accept the file that is beeing sent without beeing in the computer? Like...i type get "name of the file", and then i go to sleep and when i wake up i would have the file in my computer.

When you 1st get into the channel #videopimp , type this: !help (this is our help file which tells you how to set up mirc and how to get to the servers and how to download files). If after you have read this file a few times you still can not get it fixed right once again Come to the Help channel #videopimp.com many of us (ME and others ) will be more then glad to help you, so just ask in there.
