Eyes Set To Kill - The World Outside
Well nobody has responded to any of my other band posts, but I'm a music junky so I'll keep it coming, eventually I have to strike up a topic someone will find relevant and reply to ;)
When I heard Eyes Set To Kill came out with a new cd I just had to check it out their debut cd (ep's not included) Reach was fantastic, was one of my favourite cds for about 4 months, listened to them all day every day. When I went out and got The World Outside I was soarly dissapointed though, they definately went for more of a mainstream sound, it's such a downer that bands do this all the time. I mean I understand that a band needs to move on, do things that are more relevant to their current situation and hence the musics sound changes along with the bands members, but in doing so ESTK lost a completely unique sound that made them one of my (and many of my friends) favourite band for quite some time.
