    Lightbulb MKV OR XVID????

Should I stick to mkv or go back to xvid? Please post your preference. Whatever has the most number of preference is what i will stick to til advised by videopimp admin when a change of format is permitted and players are out there to support it. This should be interesting......

I'd prefer xvid tbh mate so I can stream to PS3. I can play your mkv's on my comp so i'm not worried either way.

Both are fine with me, mkv are just smaller in sizes.
Chooks you would have to check out it beacuse i see people are streaming mkv aswell onto the ps3 without converting.

I still prefer xvid right now, mainly because it's the one I know how to edit myself best, and the programs I've tried playing mkv on don't let me jump around back and forth, fast forward stuff very well.

In my experience, mkv files seem to take a more powerful processor to play. Try playing xvid vs mkv on an netbook. You will notice the difference. Just my opinion.
