Download stoped?

Hi i am still a newbie so forgive me for asking, but I was downloading a video and it was working for about three minutes and then it just stopped and i've tried restarting it and it just does the same thing. please give advice

Who were you downloading from? Gotta give us some more info.

Some servers are firewalled and only have some limited direct connectivity to the real internet - so people who are also firewalled might not be able to download off other firewalled servs.
